Wool rug cleaning
Wool holds dust deep in its fibres and absorbs more water than a synthetic fibre. We clean it on site with hot-water extraction, at the same rate as other rugs: €29 per square metre.

What we check
The fibre
Wool, cotton, jute or synthetic: the fibre is checked on your photos. Sisal and seagrass are not treated.
The dimensions
Length and width are enough: the price is worked out per square metre.
The condition
Old stains, wear, damaged fringes: we tell you from the photos what will come out and what will only fade.
Drying
Wool dries more slowly than a synthetic fibre: up to 8 hours for a long pile. Plan an aired room.
Between cleanings
Caring for a wool rug
- Vacuum it regularly, along the pile, without an over-aggressive rotating brush.
- Turn it from time to time so it wears and fades evenly.
- Blot a stain straight away, without rubbing.
- Have it deep-cleaned when the colours turn dull.
