Urine odour on a sofa, mattress or rug
A urine odour keeps coming back as long as its source stays in the foam or filling. We treat it with a broad-spectrum enzymatic neutraliser, then remove it with hot-water extraction: the odour is eliminated, not masked.

Treated at the source, not masked
The neutraliser
A broad-spectrum enzymatic neutraliser is injected where the odour has settled: urine, smoke, mustiness, pets.
Hot-water extraction
Hot water is then injected and drawn back out with the residue, followed by brushing where needed.
Drying
The room is aired at the end. Fabric dries in 3 to 5 hours, a mattress cleaned on both sides in 4 to 6 hours.
What we tell you first
From the photos, we tell you what to expect: a very old ring may only fade.
Children, pets, smoke
Bedwetting
Child or cot mattress: we treat the affected side or sides. See also cot and child mattresses.
Dog or cat
Marking, a pet smell settling in: same treatment. Hair is removed by vacuuming, before the cleaning.
Rugs and carpets
Pet urine sinks into the backing: we treat the affected area, the cleaning itself staying charged per square metre.
Smoke and mustiness
A smoker's sofa, a mattress stored in a cellar: the neutraliser works on these odours too.
The right first steps
- Blot fresh urine with a dry cloth, pressing down, without rubbing.
- Use neither bleach nor ammonia: their smell can draw the pet back to the same spot.
- Avoid masking it with perfume: the odour comes back as it dries.
- Send a photo of the area on WhatsApp.
