How the cleaning works
A visit takes from 45 minutes for an armchair to 1.5 hours for a 3-seat sofa. Nothing to dismantle or move.
Vacuuming
Seat, backrest, armrests, seams and under the cushions: dust and crumbs come out before anything gets wet.
Stain treatment
Visible stains are pre-treated one by one, before the whole sofa is cleaned.
Hot-water extraction
Hot water is injected into the fibres and drawn straight back out. The dirt comes up with it instead of being pushed into the foam.
Drying
We air the room as we leave. Fabric dries in 3 to 5 hours; leather can be used straight away.
Fabric, velvet, leather: what changes
Fabric and microfibre
The most common case. Full hot-water extraction: seat, backrest, armrests and cushions, seat by seat.
Velvet
Same method as fabric. The type of velvet is checked on your photos before the appointment is confirmed.
Leather and faux leather
Cleaned, then fed to keep it supple. It can be used as soon as we are done.
Alcantara
Deep-cleaned like the other upholstery; the method is confirmed from photos.

Before we arrive
A socket and a tap
An accessible 220 V socket and a water point are all we need: we bring all the equipment.
Clear access
The sofa stays where it is. We just need to be able to walk around it.
Pets and children kept away
During the cleaning and while the fabric dries.
Afterwards
Keep the room aired and avoid sitting on it while it feels damp. In winter, allow a night.
